Retiring

February 15, 2022

After going to the cat room for something like twelve years, I’m retiring! at least for now.

My October surgery was postponed till November because of additional insurance hoops, and by December I found out that the cat room staff had grown to EIGHTEEN volunteers.  This is delightful to contemplate, and also let me give myself permission to retire from it.

I’ll stay in touch with the volunteer coordinator and if there is ever a critical need I’ll respond to it.  If that happens, some kitty faces might appear here again.

Meanwhile – if you are in the Catonsville area there are always cute cats at the Petsmart, and if I find myself with a feline vacancy I’ll be heading over there myself as a customer.

Keep doing the good work you do!

All the worthy cat volunteers I’ve become acquainted with over the years are still at it, over to the right in the list of links.

Meow!

I will miss your comments and the pictures. When we go to that shopping center we try to stop in and see the kitties. Best of everything to you.

We’ll miss you too, but retirement is such a blessing and we wish you all the best!

Oh, wow. We are really going to miss you! But how exciting that there are enough volunteers now that you are able to do some things for you. 🙂 Hugs to you, dear pals.
