Short term inmates

October 24, 2018

We are in the process of trying to capture and/or trap three kittens, two young adults, and the mom of them all.  The kittens are about six weeks old and with a lot of patience and canned food all three were captured in about 45 minutes.  They are in a crate in our laundry room and will go to foster tomorrow to get socialized and adopted.

The mom is a pretty dilute tortie who looks kind of tired.  The others, a black one and a tabby, are probably nine or ten months old.  They are not starving as the apartment building residents feed them, and judging by how close they came to us to eat, they should be easy to trap if they miss a meal beforehand.

The dark calico kitten is stunningly beautiful but extremely shy.  The other two are quite a bit better.

Wish them luck!  Pardon photo quality, it was almost dark.
