Adopted last week: Logan!  and Shadow.  We’re so happy Logan has finally gone on to a new horizon.  I hope she has playmates there.

This little gentleman, about six months old, was sleepy and looking sad when we arrived.  He had a bad upper respiratory infection when he was small, which evidently scarred one of his tear ducts, leaving him with a permanently runny eye.

For awhile, we let him be, letting out the big time players and looking in on the kittens.  When we finally got around to paying attention to him, he turned out not to be a sad guy at all.  We washed his face and let him out to run around.

He proceeded to mingle nicely with the other guys, and play with all the things.

He also investigated all the things.

If you can’t tell by the number of pictures I took of him, I was very taken with him.  He was absolutely the sweetest guy – mixed well with the others, but also loved to be petted and paid attention to.  If we can just keep his face clean, he’s sure to charm somebody.

I had a foster with a runny eye. The vet used compounded anti-viral eye drops to get rid of it. Unfortunately, stress could make it re-appear periodically 😦
