Tucker and Murphy

October 3, 2016

Last week’s kittens were almost all adopted.  The little tabby boy left behind by his sister was adopted, and the tiny tortie and the black and white brother were adopted.  It was a good week for kittens.

These two boys were new to us this week.  They are about six months old and very bonded.  This is how they were when we arrived.

It turned out that Murphy was slightly smaller and also the brave one.  He got up and about pretty quickly and started playing with Louie.

Tucker was much shyer, and watched his brother’s antics from the safety of the litter box.  I dragged him out a couple of times and put him on my lap and cuddled him, and he was ok with that, but wanted to go back to the litter box as soon as he could.

I hope that they can stay together, cats like Tucker will blossom if they’re secure, and having a brother to depend on can help him be secure.

They’re so cute! We sure hope they can be adopted together, too.
