Kitten Wednesday

July 13, 2016

We have not yet been completely overrun with kittens – which is a good thing for so many reasons.  Maybe it means fewer kittens are being born; maybe it means kittens are being adopted more quickly.  Both of those would be good things.  On the practical side, the fewer cages of wild monkeys turning over food dishes and throwing litter in their water, the more time we have to just pet them.

This week we only had four kittens.  This little black and white pair was friendly and inquisitive.

The girl was bold and curious, and sported a major set of white whiskers.

The boy was cuddly and sleek.

Then there was this little wild man.

He wanted NO PART of sitting in a cage or of being held.  He wanted to GO.  Too bad we couldn’t let him.

He tried to get the attention of the neighbors.

He’s another one of those cats that you know will stir up any home he goes to!

Your kittens are so adorable! We have SO many kittens at the shelter right now. Hopefully they’ll all find forever homes soon.

as much as I would hate it if there wasn’t a need for fosters, I do hope one day to be put out of business 🙂 It is nice when you aren’t overrun with kittens because you know it means more homes for the adults.
