The bug

May 26, 2016

Hopper and Dagwood were hanging out by the cat room door when we spotted a big black beetle of some sort, wandering around outside the door.  They instantly spotted it too.

They fooled around with that bug for a long time – they were pushing it back and forth under the door, and people outside the door helpfully pushed it back in.  Rizzo watched from the elevated bed.

“What are they on about??”

Finally the bug expired and stopped moving.  Hopper wandered off for a few minutes, then came back to wait for her bug to return.  She waited a long time.

The bug never came.

“I ate it.”

We heard the other day that Dagwood was having tummy trouble and went back to see the vet.  We’ll miss his cheeky attitude! and I think Hopper will too.  We hope he will be back to us soon.

Yes they do but not big black ones like that! Little brown ones! This was clearly an invader from the loading dock!
