Kittens

May 18, 2016

Wednesdays are not my favorite days so I’m loading up all our kitten pictures today.

We had seven kittens on Saturday – two in pairs, and one who was the last remaining from a litter of four.

The little singleton charmed me because she looked just like my very first cat, whom I adopted at the same age.

She was friendly and sweet but also squirmy and active.  And all tail.

Then there was a pair of orange boys.

They were also on the busy side and didn’t really want to be held still.  Notice the toys in the water dish…

“He’s still back there, isn’t he?”

By the time we left, the orange guys were sacked out.

Then there was a pair of grey ones.  The boy loved to be held, the girl was squirmy.

And there was a pair of tabby and white boys who were way too active to put up with being held at all.

We love having these cuties with us, although we are not happy to have to keep them in extra-large crates instead of cages.  We’ll be grateful when kitten season tapers off, and we won’t be required to have so many cats with us and can give them all some more space.
