Winchester

April 25, 2016

This fellow was slated to go back to the vet, because he had raw spots where he’d scratched behind his ears, and there was no information in his paperwork to indicate that this was known and on its way to healing.  We never saw him scratch during the two hours we were in the cat room; he may have had a bad case of mites that was treated, but we didn’t want to let him mix with the others just in case.

He was SO sweet and wanted nothing but to be petted, and when you opened his cage he butted your face with his head and gave kisses.  He will make someone a great companion.

And he was beautiful.

The little tortie cat who appeared in last week’s “Visitors” post was being adopted as we were arriving.  She was a lovely sweet little thing and her new family was going to call her Angel.  That was the only adoption we recorded last week; the Exorcist kitty seems to have been sent back to see the vet along with Shylo and Suzanne.
