Adopted last week:  Evan and Harmony (someone pre-empted her return to the vet and promised to take her straight to their vet) and Chessie (who did turn out to be a girl, she had the wrong collar slapped on her).  And also Skippy John.

Charm was a slim tuxie girl who had clearly been a very young mother.  She must still have been full of kitten-mom hormones because she basically snarled at any cat she saw, that eldritch warning yowl that said, “Don’t come near me.”  As such she was a bit of a risk for unpredictable behavior.  But she was so pretty that we hope she calms down as her body realized she’s no longer taking care of babies.

She did some lap sitting but you could just tell from looking at her that she was on the alert for danger.

When we first arrived she was deep in a nap and woke up slowly.

“Time to get up already?”

Momma cats have it so rough. I hope her mammaries don’t fill up and cause a problem for her.
