Captain, my Captain

March 23, 2016

This handsome fellow had acquired the name Captain Pawski at some point.  I thought I’d stick to calling him Captain.

He called out to us when we arrived, and rubbed on our legs, but when he accidentally got his tail stepped on, he got a little nervous and was growly for awhile.  That doesn’t seem to be his true nature, however.

We hadn’t been there very long when he acquired a visitor.  See the bit of black?  Sunshine came down and made herself at home.  He was skeptical that this was going to be a good idea, but he sat there with her keeping her company and considering the matter.

Then Venus came in too.  She seemed to like to hang out with Sunshine, and Captain didn’t deter her.  He retreated to his cubby to give himself more space while he considered the invasion of the girls.

“Can’t a fellow get a little space here?”

He has such an expressive face, doesn’t he?
