STILL with the KITTENS

December 10, 2015

We had a bunch of kittens with us on Saturday – mostly shy, as it turned out.

This little girl was all alone.  She sat in her litter box looking sad, and was ok with being held but not super happy about it.  She had the coolest fur, it felt like velveteen.

Then there was this pair of orange ones, brother and sister.  They didn’t want to be held but when given a ball track they were quite happy.  They were hard to photograph, because they were in the darkest cage down on the end and were perpetual motion machines.

Then there was this pair, also brother and sister, and shy.  Neither one wanted much to be held, but if you did it just right they loved having their ears rubbed.

Sister had to keep her ears clean.

At nap time, one snuggled down right where he was.  Sister had the unfortunate desire to sleep in the litter box and would not be talked out of it.

She gave me that stubborn face that one of mine gives me all the time.
