Littlest babies

October 27, 2015

These two tiny kittens were barely over eight weeks.  They had those tiny paws the size of a human thumb, and they loved to cuddle.

The boy was a ticked tabby with a round little body and face.  He stuck his tongue out while being petted.

His sister was even tinier and so slender, a pretty dilute calico.

They were both curious and affectionate.  About half an hour after we left the cat room, the little girl had an apparent seizure and was rushed off to the emergency vet.  By the time Last Chance came to get her, however, it had passed and she seemed fine.  They came the next day to take her brother back to be with her and to be observed.  No one has any idea right now why this happened.  We’re hoping the pretty little pair can be back to normal soon and continue charming everyone who sees them.

oh that must have been so frightening! I had a mother cat have a seizure once, I nearly lost it trying to figure out what to do for her. I am glad she is doing well and I hope it never happens again
