Foster Friday: Adopt Siggy
Another Siggy post. This girl is going to be hard to place, not because she’s grouchy or sickly or anything but because she is so shy. She always comes out to say hello when I come into the room (especially if the food bowls are empty), but she doesn’t want to sit on or beside me or be picked up and hugged and kissed (unlike her remaining little boy). She’s pretty and quiet and actually likes to play with toy mice. She would be a good companion for a quiet person with an apartment who doesn’t mind that their cat is not super-affectionate.
She loves her little remaining boy, and it would be nice if they could go home together, but it isn’t that likely to happen if I can’t bring them to adoption events together (Siggy would not do well at an adoption event, it would make her stressed and scared).
I sure hope that shy beauty gets to go home soon.
One never knows how cats will behave. Jenna was “Miss Congeniality” in her building at the no kill shelter. She greeted everyone who walked in the door.
I knew she’d been adopted about a year earlier and brought back because she wouldn’t come out of their basement. I had her a few months before I finally got her to come out of the walk-in closet during the day. She’s a good pet but still hides when others are around.
