This big calm grey guy set a world record for smallest residency at PetSmart for a large adult cat.  He came in on Friday the 13th, and as we were leaving on Saturday, a couple was beginning the paperwork to adopt him.  He’s going to have a lazy, friendly golden retriever to keep in line and will have the slightly more noble name of Edmund.

He was not at all unfriendly, just had his priorities.  We knew he was definitely going to have a home when he roused himself from his calm to give lots of headbutts to his potential adopters.

“Don’t worry, lady, I know what I’m doing.  I’m saving energy.”

Adopted last week:  Joy, the two tabby G boys, Buddy (who was only in the group shots), Betsy, and the calico tabby kitten.  Returned to see the vet:  Tux, Reds, the floofy G boy, and I think the black and white kitten and orange and white kittens.  The records were not very well updated to account for adoptions and comings and goings.  Mr. Clean appeared to have pinkeye and thus we were not able to let him out of his cage, sadly as he is such a lover – he’ll go see the vet too.
