We had a batch of kittens last Saturday.  Kitten season must have gotten in gear at the end of April.  There were two pairs, and then a batch of four.  Most of our Saturday time in the cat room was taken up with sending home the batch of four – two by two.

This little pair was way down at the end – a feisty black girl and a mellow little tabby boy.

This pair of totally wild boys never stood still long enough to be photographed – not really.  They will bounce off the walls of any home they go to.

I hope they go together, otherwise they will wear out some unwary human or adult cat!

Then there was this little set.  Two oranges, including one lovely little swirled tabby girl, and two brown.

They played a bunch, then were trying so hard not to fall asleep…

First the two orange ones went home, to live with a family that already had two.  They’ll do great.

The brown ones then had the bed to themselves.

But then the two of them went home, too, and each of them will have their own human kid to fuss over them.

Four adoptions in an hour!  That was a lot of paperwork!
