Amanda and Aubrey

January 23, 2013

This pretty dilute tortie and this little round tabby had consecutive numbers, and apparently came in as a pair, but were quickly separated by the volunteers because their relationship was evidently not that harmonious.  I don’t know what the story is there; by the time we arrived they were two separate kitties.

Amanda is a lean dilute tortie with lovely coloring.  She was very happy to be petted, and generally relaxed, but didn’t want to come out of her cage for the time being.

Belly up, girl!

Aubrey was a very soft silky calico tabby who was a little round.  She was willing to be taken out of her cage and carried around, although she didn’t want to run around the room on her own.  Isn’t her coat pretty?
