Just hold her

January 4, 2013

This youngster, maybe four months old, just wanted one thing.

As long as someone was holding her she was content to just lounge and purr.  She went from lap to arms to lap all afternoon.   She was pretty cute, so we had to temporarily deprive her of the holding to get a good look.

I doubt she was there too many days before someone snapped up her little lapcat self.

She watched Milo go absolutely crazy over a little feathered ball in a shoe.

Look who else was watching.  Ms. Antifeline Sheena was out and about and not losing her mind.  She did not like our two big boys but didn’t express her antipathy unless one of them walked up to her or passed too close.  This is an improvement.

Next week, the first cats of 2013!

They are all so cute! But seriously, there’s nothing better than a lapcat. 🙂

    Happy New Year, dear friends!

I love the cats who have no qualms about hopping into total strangers’ laps. They make my day every time I volunteer at the shelter and discover another one.

    Happy 2013!
