Shy and less shy

December 28, 2012

What’s with the pairs of shy cats we keep getting in??  We had another pair of shy brothers come in this week.  One hid in the cage the whole time, the other got out, looked around, then hid in the broomcloset.  This made them difficult to photograph, which is too bad because they were handsome.

Milo and Nick, on the other hand, continue to come out of their shells.  Milo was first to bite down on the dynamite catnip toy.

Nick, when he wasn’t trying to run up the walls after the laser pointer, lounged around showing off his stripes.

He discovered the fun of rolling around on the counter getting petted.

What a big improvement.  I hope the two brothers can go home soon, since there is now a special price for taking them together.

Thanks to you and the other volunteers to taking such good care of shy cats so they are less shy! Here’s hoping all the shy kitties get adopted!!
