We’re back!  We do have a few adoption updates.  The two adorable little stripey brothers went back to see the vet.  The cute little tuxie kitten went back to see the vet.  The buff colored girl was adopted, but her sister, although seeming perfectly lively, had a sign on her cage that she was going back to see the vet.  These upper respiratory things seem to run through the kitten population periodically and they have to travel for antibiotics.

The best news is that Lucy and Ricky were adopted!  Together!  Someone convinced Last Chance to give a discount on the two if they were adopted together, and then one of the store associates did a great sales pitch, and so our two shy ones got to stay together.  So often, the less shy of the two gets to go, and the other one is left behind.  This is better.

So, this week we had only a couple of kittens – three who were labeled as being picked up for the vet, and one little stripey one I’ll post later.  Our main population consisted of five young adult females, who all got along quite well and had a lovely time wandering around and playing.

This is Angelina.  She’s a handsome young tortie with a calm attitude.  She liked being held and being petted, and got along well with everyone.

She looks slightly skeptical, but really, she’s not. She was a very pleasant cat to have around.

Great news about Lucy and Ricky….and you KNOW I am in love with Angelina already! What a beautiful tortie….if I were in a situation where I could adopt another cat, I would be halfway up the highway already!
