We had three pairs of kittens who were just a tad too young to run about, and also were a little shy and so didn’t get brought out and carried around as much as we might have liked.  There was a pair of boys, and two pairs of girls.

The boys were sleepy.

The girls were busy and skittish.  One was a classic tortie and the other was a beautiful dark calico.

They had an orange brother as well, he was going out the door to his new home as we were arriving.

The last pair was a tortie girl so dark that you had to look for a second to realize she wasn’t a black cat, and a pretty buff girl that I was surprised to find was not a boy.  Buff female cats are not all that common in my experience.  They were also kind of busy, and I only got one picture, of the pretty buff girl.

So cute! Did they get adopted as pairs?

Oh my — the classic tortie and dark calico (I call that tuxedo tortie) sisters look like my two sweethearts, adopted 18 and a half years ago. Precious memories! Thanks for posting. My heart hopes they were adopted together. The others are adorable as well.
