Come back

November 6, 2012

While the cats were running about, someone brought their little white puffball of a dog up to the door to look in.  We get a wide variety of responses from the cats when dogs visit.  Some are clearly very unhappy, and puff up and hiss.  Some ignore, because they understand that there is glass between them and the drooly  monster.  I don’t know whether it was the small size of this dog (not any taller than a full sized cat, and only wider because of the fluff), or whether Lisa had a dog friend in her past, but she was eager to say hello.

She leaned on the glass door, and put her face right up to it, and generally made it very clear she wanted to be friends.

When the dog left, she looked after it for quite awhile.

Oh, that’s kind of sad! We hope Lisa gets a forever home (with a woofie friend!) real soon!

Awww, such a wistful shot! It’s so nice when kitties are social with other animals of any sort. Did the dog greet her back?
