Multicolored

August 31, 2012

Well, this litter was with us last Saturday but were adopted during the week.  But that’s a story for after I show you their pictures.

I tried hard to get a picture of the brown and white boy, I’ve never seen a cat that color before – brown and reddish.  These other two were very close and hung out together, but the brown and white guy wanted action.

He sure was rocking the whiskers, wasn’t he?

The story is that a friend of one of the volunteers came in on Sunday, in need of a cat, and was totally smitten by the array of lovely kittens in the room, so much so that she couldn’t decide which ones to take and which ones to leave.  She came back Monday and visited some more, and then decided which ones she had to take home.  ALL THREE of the little cuties above, PLUS the shy white-footed tabby boy left behind by his more social brother, PLUS the little white floofball from yesterday’s entry.  Frankly when I heard about it, I was frightened at first, because, after all, five at once sounds a little suspicious.  However, since it turns out to be someone we are likely to see again, it’s probably ok.  Lucky kittens, to stay together.  Cheers to Beverly who will never have a dull moment in her home again!

Meanwhile, this pair of brothers played.

When we dropped by during the week, the grey one had already gone to a home.
