Then there was one

August 20, 2012

We had a few adoptions last week, and while that’s always good news, in each of these cases it left one behind.

Adopted:  One wild tortie girl.

Left behind: one sister, who seemed to be doing fairly well but wasn’t quite as mellow about being held as she’d been.

Adopted:  One orange guy.

Left behind: a silky black and white sister, who did NOT want to be in her cage by herself.

Adopted: two tabby kittens.

Left behind: one brother who caught a cold and had to go see the vet.

Adopted:  One tabby boy with a great tummy (he went home to be a little brother to Daphne).

Left behind: one tabby brother with white feet, who has been becoming more and more relaxed as the weeks have gone by.  He did a bit of running around with the lone tortie sister and little Gizmo, so I hope they can keep each other company until they get adopted.

Hooray for the adoptees! And we are purring and praying for the ones left behind, that they will find their own forever homes, too.

I just love adoptions and I know what it is like to be left behind. Hang it there gang, your homes are coming, I just know it!
