The kittens are not slow.  Not by a long shot.  Adoptions are a little slow.  One of the three grey and white sisters was adopted last week, and two kittens we didn’t get to meet.   The only new ones this weekend were two tabby boys, one with white markings.  They joined the fray with the two torties and the two grey and white girls.

The one with the white markings was shy, although after an hour and a half of hiding, with occasional forays to bat someone and run back, he did come out and participate a little more.

These boys are pretty much the same age as our other kittens, maybe 16 weeks.  I hope this means the wave of kittens this summer was smaller than usual and that we’re not going to have too many more teeny ones this season.

We sure hope you’re right. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there were less kittens this summer?
