Gretel revisited
Some great adoption news this week. Adopted: Lively little Trina, AND lovable Annie! We knew that girl would win someone’s heart, and she did. Also, the little tabby kitten and his sister.
There were no kittens Saturday afternoon, because LC hadn’t yet brought new ones to fill the emptied cages, so we had only the adults to attend to. Each one was sweet, but since most of them disliked other cats they required separate individual attention. Only Lisette got right down and started patrolling the room.
Gretel is coming out of her shell a little. She loves attention – you have to keep alert for a sign that she wants you to stop, and it can make her uncomfortable if you appear to have an arm around her, but as long as you stay in the right place she is quite a lover. I finally got some decent photos of her.
We have three tortie girls currently, so if you know anyone in central Maryland who loves torties, send them down!
I’m glad Gretel’s coming out of her shell! It’s always rewarding when the shy ones start warming up.
Yay for Trina and Annie! 🙂 Concatulations to them both, and to their forever families!
Great news about Gretel … thank you for helping her to come out of her shell. 🙂
