Tricolor girls

September 16, 2009

The littlest ones at Petsmart this week were two adorable little sisters, maybe 12 weeks old – out of the ‘baby hair’ stage but still too small to mix it up with the general population.

One was a quiet, sweet, and slender little grey tabby with subtle little streaks of muted orange peeping through the grey – a dilute torbie I guess.  She was calm and quiet and loved to be held.

I had to wait until she got sleepy to take her picture, because every time I came near the cage with the camera, she came forward for attention.

The other sister was a cute little tortie.  Of course I took a million pictures of her, because I’m a sucker for those torties.  This one was all ears and tail, long and lean.

She was busier than her sister, and just as eager to put her face up to the bars, so pictures waited till nap time.

With all the traffic in the store this weekend, I hope both these girls have gone to good homes by the time we go back on Saturday.

Hey, good lookin’s! Caroline I love the sixth (?) pic down where sis #2 is resting her head on her front paw. Awwwww! Fingers crossed for quick adoptions, girls!
