Guys in the sky

July 23, 2009

The cat room at PetSmart is a lot bigger than the large breadboxes the cats live in, but after it’s your only play place for weeks on end it can start to be just a bit – well – old hat.  Dull.

Turbo long ago found out that there was a whole other layer of space to get into – the top of the wall of cages.

This week, Tom the Tux Guy found the Up part of the room also.  I was petting Colette who is too shy to come out of her cage, and I saw her casting an anxious look up above my head.  This is why.

She could see the pink toes and the chin sticking out above her ceiling.

This is the first chance I have gotten to get a shot of his funny little Charlie Chaplin white mustache.

One of the dilute tortie sisters, the one with the big butterscotch blaze, was up there with them.  I hope she has an Up in her new home too.

Oh, Tom the Tux is just way too cute with that little mustache! He really does look like Charlie Chaplin 🙂 Hugs to all the little kitties and hope they find wonderful forever homes…each and every one of them!

Oh, I’m a sucker for ‘staches! Come kiss me Tommy!

All of my guys love “up.” What amazed me was how popular the tiny rail of my tall headboard proved to be… it’s no more than 2″ wide and I’d constantly walk in on “monorail” kitties… looked dang uncomfortable… and then I realized it gave the best views out of the windows!

Perhaps Turbo, Tommy and Miss Butterscotch Blaze realize they are well showcased on the top!!! 🙂 Hugs to all!

I love how cats can make themselves comfortable where ever they are. Turbo is a cutie.
