Feisty little kitten

Remember this picture from yesterday?

See that little face on the right?  Here is the rest of it.

A teeny tiny little girl, could not have been more than 8-10 weeks old.  She was very interested in her nextdoor neighbor and they waved their paws at one another through the bars of the open door a little.

She did get down and walk around for awhile, but she was just so little that finally I picked her up and put her up where she was safe.  She was not intimidated by all the other cats, though – she would walk up to a cat that stood three times her height, and hiss boldly.

 

I thought maybe she would play with this one, who was so soft and poofy that we called her Puffball.  But neither one was interested in playing, for whatever reason.

(She’s standing on my daughter’s back.  She spent a bunch of time standing on shoulders.)  She was a bit more timid than little Miss Feisty – evidently had come in with a white sibling who was almost instantly adopted, and was the kitty left behind.
